Camping Information

  • 2024 campsite sales begin at 9:00 a.m. EDT on April 1st, 2024.
  • Electric Sites: $160 each total for the weekend. (+ $7 Processing Fee)
  • Non-Electric Sites: $40 each total for the weekend. (+ $2 Processing Fee)
  • Camping will be available for three nights starting Thursday, August 22nd, 2024.

Camping Arrival Times, Special Considerations, Rules, and Guidelines

Arrival Times for Campers

  • Because of bridge weight restrictions and site layout, we have a limited window to allow for campers to arrive and also leave. If you cannot arrive or leave during the specified times you will not have an opportunity to camp on site.  No exceptions and no refunds so please read closely. 
  • (Please do not arrive early as we only have a limited amount of space for staging)
    • Camper Arrival Times – plan for at least an hour of wait time if arriving Wednesday.
    • Wednesday, August 21st – 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
    • Thursday, August 22nd – 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
    • Friday, August 23rd – 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
  • No Reserved Spots: We will be directing you to a location and parking you as you arrive.  Your arrival date and time does not necessarily mean you will get the closest available spot.  You will be assigned a space when you arrive and, in many cases, it may not be the next closest spot to the main event entrance.
  • If you want to camp in a group, then everyone in the group must arrive at the same time. We will not hold spots.

Exit Times for Campers

  • Once you have arrived only single axle trucks without trailers and cars will be permitted to cross bridge with camping permit or parking pass displayed.
  • You will not be able to remove your camper before 6:00 AM Sunday August 25th. No exceptions so plan accordingly!

Special Considerations

  • Handicap: We do not have any designated handicap camping sites available but will do everything we can within reason to accommodate. Contact us via Email at camping@wowraffle.com of those requirements by August 11th to work out the details.
  • When you arrive to park your camper, you will receive a Camping Permit/Parking Pass. After initial arrival date, only small trucks and cars can access the campsite via the bridge accessible from SR 119.  You must have the Camping Permit/Parking Pass visibly displayed to access the campsite.  This will be closely monitored so don’t forget your pass as you will not be allowed to cross with vehicle without it.
  • All campers must park within marked site boundaries. This includes the vehicle pulling the camper.  Overflow camper parking will be available for vehicles that won’t fit inside the site boundaries. All vehicles must remain parked for the duration of the event except for those directly entering or leaving the campgrounds.
  • The ticket booth window will be open Wednesday – Friday for campers to exchange their paper tickets for wrist bands (check website for time). We highly encourage you to do so to help with the expected crowds.

Camping Rules and Guidelines

  • The goal of the WoW Super Raffle Event is for everyone to have a great time, watch some great entertainment, and with a little luck win a fabulous prize. We ask that all participants understand that while we want everyone to have a great time, what also helps make it great for everyone is if you respect the rights of your fellow campers and WoW attendees.  Please recognize the rules and guidelines put in place below is to allow for that, and do your part to have a great time but show respect for everyone around you.
  • By entering the grounds of Ambassador Park you are agreeing to abide to all of the following.
  • Upon arrival to the campgrounds you will receive a camper and vehicle permit that will be registered under the persons name who reserved the campsite. This must be displayed in a prominent location on both your camper and vehicle.  Fail to do so and you will be asked to leave the campsite.  Your camper will not be able to be picked up until Sunday during the camper exit times.
  • UTV’s, Golf Carts, SxS’s, etc are prohibited anywhere on the grounds of Ambassador park including the campgrounds.
  • Sites may not be level; campers are required to bring plenty of blocking.
  • For the electric sites, You are only guaranteed a 30 Amp connection so plan accordingly. Campers to supply all proper connections to the existing 30 or 50 amp plugs. The camper assumes all risks associated with connecting into the supplied power outlets.
  • Quiet hours are from 1:00 am to 7:00 am.  All music, loud noise, abusive language, large gatherings, hazardous activities, or any other disturbances and annoyances will not be tolerated and must stop at the quiet time. All violators will be dealt with on an individual bases and subject to removal.
  • Any disturbance requiring intervention from any law enforcement agency, WOW Volunteer Staff Member, security agency, or official representative of the WOW will, after a max of one warning, constitute reason for dismissal from the grounds and loss of all camping privileges and access to the event area for the current and future events.
  • Generators will be allowed on non-electric campsites only. However, during quiet hours please be conscientious of your neighbors.  Any generators in use must not exceed 65 decibels at 20’ of noise output.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age to enter the campgrounds.
  • Open fires including charcoal grills are prohibited at all times. Propane grills only may be used.
  • Set out trash in sacks each morning by 7:30 AM for pickup. Please pickup all trash before leaving.
  • No Glass, Fireworks or Soliciting in camping or event area is permitted.
  • No food or drinks allowed to be carried into the Super Raffle event. Food and drinks available for purchase. (Only exception is in extreme heat, water is permitted or water/food for medical purposes).
  • Pets are not encouraged at campsite. Service animals only will be allowed at Super Raffle event.
  • Showers (limited) and portable restrooms will be available.  Shower times will be Friday from 6:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM until 10:00 AM, Sunday 6:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
  • No dump station available on site. The nearest station can be found by going to https://rvshare.com/dumpstations/ohio or https://rvdumpsites.net/ .
  • Not responsible for injuries, accidents, and damaged or stolen property.
  • For your safety, we ask that you have and test all smoke and carbon monoxide units for proper use each day.
  • For an emergency dial 911, location of Ambassador Park at 2205 St. Rt. 49 in Fort Recovery, OH along with a description of where you are located on grounds.
  • The WOW Super Raffle Committee reserves the right to have any unruly campers, attendees, visitors, etc. removed for any reason from the premises of Ambassador Park which includes access to the WOW Event. There will be no refunds for any purchases during, prior, or after the event.
