2025 Win on the Wabash Senior Scholarships
The Win on the Wabash Super Raffle, sponsored by the Fort Recovery Athletic Boosters, will be awarding 20 Seniors this year from the local 5-county area with $1,000 scholarships. These scholarships will be awarded to Seniors who have demonstrated a dedication to voluneeterism and community service throughout high school.

The application deadline is March 31st, 2025. Students awarded with a scholarship will be notified by April 30th, 2025.
The requirements for eligibility are as follows:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must currently be a Senior (class of 2025) enrolled in a school within Mercer (OH), Darke (OH), Auglaize (OH), Shelby (OH), or Jay (IN) County. (Home schooled students are included.)
- Must have logged community service hours throughout your high school career. Submitting a copy of your logged community service hours is encouraged but not required.
- Must fully complete the application through Google Forms.
- Application must include a typed, in 12 pt. font, 400-word maximum essay. Please include your name at the top of the essay. The prompt for you essay is: “Reflecting on your experiences with community service throughout high school, discuss how these experiences have shaped your understanding of responsibility and the importance of serving others. Describe specific instances where you have contributed to your community and the lessons you learned through that service. Finally, explain how you plan to continue your commitment to community service beyond high school.”
- Application must also include a letter of recommendation from a non-related community member or school employee that highlights your commitment to community service, with contact information included for the person writing the letter of recommendation.
